Hyperline Raises $10M to Revolutionize Automated Billing Platforms

Hyperline, a French fintech startup, has made significant strides in the automated billing space, securing $10 million in its latest funding round. Led by Index Ventures, this investment underscores growing confidence in Hyperline’s mission to build a next-generation billing solution that rivals industry leaders like Chargebee.

Founded two years ago, Hyperline aims to simplify billing complexities for businesses managing subscriptions, one-off purchases, and usage-based pricing models. “Billing becomes a tedious problem as you scale,” explains Lucas Bédout, Hyperline’s founder and CEO. “With hundreds of customers, daily operations like verifying invoices, addressing failed payments, and handling reimbursements can overwhelm teams.”

What Sets Hyperline Apart?

Hyperline has taken billing automation to the next level by focusing on operational efficiency. Unlike traditional tools, its platform minimizes manual intervention. It offers flexibility in pricing models, including custom pricing and usage-based components, and provides seamless invoice management.

One standout feature is Hyperline’s role as a payment orchestrator. Instead of relying on businesses to manage individual payment processors, Hyperline integrates with providers like Stripe, GoCardless, and Airwallex, offering a unified interface. This approach enables businesses to adapt to varying payment methods across geographies without added complexity.

Scalable and API-Driven

Hyperline integrates with CRMs to streamline quote creation for sales teams and connects with accounting software for automated reconciliation. For advanced billing scenarios, its API allows direct integration with data warehouses, enabling real-time sync for usage-based billing.

With clients like Lokki, Malou, and Formance, Hyperline’s platform already serves companies generating between €3 million and €10 million in annual revenue. The startup is now preparing to scale its solutions to larger enterprises with higher invoice volumes, leveraging integration partnerships to expand its reach.

A Growing Team with Big Ambitions

Hyperline currently operates with a lean team of 14 employees but plans to nearly double its workforce in the coming months. This growth is a testament to its ambition to redefine billing for businesses worldwide.

With Index Ventures backing its journey, Hyperline is well-positioned to set new benchmarks in billing automation. As companies increasingly seek efficient, scalable solutions, Hyperline’s innovative approach is paving the way for smarter financial operations.
