Overhaul Secures $55M to Revolutionize Supply Chain Security

In an era where supply chain challenges dominate boardroom discussions, Overhaul, a Texas-based supply chain security platform, has raised $55 million to expand its operations. The funding round, led by Springcoast Partners with participation from Edison Partners and Americo, brings the company’s total raised to an impressive $150 million.

Overhaul specializes in providing supply chain visibility and theft prevention solutions to industry giants such as Microsoft, Dyson, and Bristol Myers Squibb. The platform integrates AI-powered analytics with real-time telemetry data to identify risks and mitigate potential disruptions.

The Growing Need for Supply Chain Security

Cargo theft is an escalating issue, with the U.S. and Canada reporting a 14% year-over-year increase in Q3 2024. The total value of stolen goods exceeded $39 million during the quarter, as organized crime groups grow more sophisticated.

Barry Conlon, CEO of Overhaul, noted the critical gap in visibility for supply chain operators:
“Many in our industry struggle to gain visibility into their supply chains, especially when dealing with multiple suppliers and partners. Without visibility, it’s difficult to identify and mitigate risks.”

To address these challenges, Overhaul’s AI-driven tools analyze transit telemetry and contextual data, providing real-time alerts to its global security operations. These teams collaborate with local law enforcement to recover cargo swiftly in the event of a theft.

Strategic Growth in a Competitive Market

The supply chain visibility software market is projected to reach $12.6 billion by 2032, but startups in this space face stiff competition from established players like Tive, Altana, Project44, and FourKites.

Despite these challenges, Overhaul has differentiated itself through innovative offerings, including:

  • Intelligence as a Service: Providing actionable insights for logistics optimization.
  • Cargo Insurance Programs: Securing high-value shipments.
  • Cold Chain Solutions: Ensuring quality for pharma and food and beverage clients.

The fresh funding will fuel Overhaul’s product development, strategic acquisitions, and workforce expansion, strengthening its position in the market.

As supply chains continue to face pressures from theft and logistical complexities, Overhaul aims to empower businesses with the tools they need to safeguard their operations and ensure seamless delivery.
